Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi is established in 1985. IGRUA is a pilot training institute. It is located at Amethi, UP. Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi is an autonomous institution. IGRUA is under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. In 2013 August, the Ministry Of Civil Aviation announced that a National Aviation University would be established on the IGRUA site. The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi is governing by the Government of India through its Governing Council (GC). The Governing Council is the supreme body of the organization headed by the Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation.

IGRUA Recruitment 2021: Experience Required

1	Aircraft Helper (Mechanical Stream)	• Technical Personnel should be at least a Matriculate, with a minimum 01-year working experience in Mechanical stream in any General Aviation Organization/ Flying Institute, preferably on aircraft operated by IGRUA. • A diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering will be desirable.
2	Junior Aircraft Mechanic (Mechanical)	• Minimum 02 years working experience in any General Aviation Organization/Flying Club excluding duration of Diploma and On Job Practical Training. • Technical personnel not possessing the required educational qualification should be at least a Matriculate, with a minimum of 5 years working experience in any General Aviation Organization/Flying Club. • Personnel having working experience on aircraft operated by IGRUA will be given preference.
